Her sales career in publishing and events started in South Africa at a young age. Relocating to London for 16 months enabled her the opportunity to travel the globe networking with senior executives within the telecoms industry. 14 months later Sarah was offered the opportunity to run a branch for an international wholesale telecoms publication based in RSA. Expanding her horizons further she launched a new telecoms publication called Africa Telecoms. Followed by the iconic international titles Rolling Stone, F1 Racing and DJ magazine. The launch of Africa Telecoms lead into managing corporate events and Rolling Stone and DJ mag provided a natural transition into hosting live music events, concerts and festivals.
In 2014 she became a Director and committee member of the non for profit organization Mobile Monday South Africa, which brings together a global community of mobile industry visionaries, developers and influential’s fostering cooperation and cross-border business development through virtual and live networking events to share ideas, best practices and trends from global markets.
With 12 years work experience in sales, content management, marketing, events and sponsorships and launching multiple brands, came the birth of her company Collective Networks. She now manages events and offers her skills and expertise to multiple companies, both locally and international on a consulting and freelance basis.
